Holy Week at the Cathedral

Palm/Passion Sunday (April 14)
Our regular 9:00 a.m. Eucharist will feature the Palm Sunday procession and the Passion reading.
Daily services (April 15–17)
These will be held Monday–Wednesday during Holy Week (except that the 12:05 Eucharist will not be held on Tuesday):

Chrism Mass (April 16 at 11:00 a.m.)
Join clergy and laity from all over Diocese as the three holy oils are blessed, the clergy renew their ordination vows, and we all renew our baptismal vows. Click here for more information on this Diocesan event.
Maundy Thursday (April 18 at 6:00 p.m.)
This solemn Eucharist with footwashing will feature a Gregorian chant setting.
Good Friday liturgy (April 19 at 12:05 p.m.)
Holy Saturday liturgy (April 20 at 12:05 p.m.)
Great Vigil (April 20 at 6:00 p.m.)
This is one of the oldest surviving liturgies of our Church. Starting with a celebration of the light of Christ, we then hear and respond to the word of God's saving deeds throughout history, followed by a renewal of our own baptismal vows, and concluding with the first Eucharist of Easter. Our service will feature music for soprano and orchestra by Handel and Mozart.
Easter Sunday (April 21 at 9:00 a.m.)
This solemn pontifical Eucharist will feature music for choir and brass by Mathias, Proulx, Lehman, and Rutter

Our regular Sunday service is a sung Eucharist at 9:00 a.m.; we also have a said Eucharist most Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. (preceded by morning prayer at 7:05), and special services throughout the year on major feast days.
